2011 marked the opening of Georgian College’s new $62.5-million Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness at the Barrie Campus August 31. It’s the largest building project in Georgian College history and opens a new era in health care education. It provides students and the community with state-of-the-art labs, classrooms and clinics. With 48 full functioning dental suites and a planned expansion of 18 more it is one of the premier dental facilities in Ontario.

When Gord Mullin of Sinclair Dental approached us with the project we knew he was going to want something custom. Our engineers have worked with Mr Mullin on earlier installations with great success so we wanted to catch up with him and see why he keeps going with BaseVac™ Custom Central Systems. “When developing a larger clinic the ideal way to go is a dry vacuum system . The BaseVac™ system installed is a model D100D, a duplex systems with two five horsepower dry vane vacuum pumps. When asked about the start-up performance Mr. Mullin responded “In this environment it is excellent. The amount of vacuum at each location is excellent. There is no comparison. Everyone is happy.”
