Thank you for continuing with our blog series on why you should choose a BaseVac for your Dental Clinic. Dental Vacuums are an essential part of the office, making a choice on a vacuum for your clinic should not be made lightly.
Last week we explained how BaseVac’s robust design could keep your office running, even when catastrophe strikes. Today we will be continuing the function series by discussing the design of our air/water separators and upgradable vacuums.
Air/Water Separators
BaseVac’s engineers looked at the most innovative way of taking old ideas and making them work. When it came to designing our air/water separator, BaseVac wanted one that was strong, had a high capacity, and an efficient draining system. We put careful thought and design work into our tanks, creating multiple options for any Dental Clinic.
BaseVac designed our tanks to fully drain, allowing no bacteria to stay and grow within our systems, preventing bad smells from entering the clinic. On average, our tanks drain completely within 3.5 minutes, not allowing any chance of biological material to remain in the tank. Every air/water separator has a safety float that prevents water from entering the motor. BaseVac decided to ensure we have the best available float, one that cannot be affected by foam or other materials. For this reason, we decided on a high-quality magnetic float.
Due to the power of our systems, we needed an air/water separator tank that was as robust as our systems. We designed our tanks out of a thick PVC, making it one of the strongest tanks on the market. Our tanks are designed with a baffle to help with the air/water separation process. Our specifically designed baffle allows the heavier material to settle quickly in the bottom of the tank, while the air flows out of the top.
Upgradable Motors
There are many reasons for a Dental Clinic to require more suction. It is often the case that Dental Professionals would have to reinvest in a new system. Fortunately, BaseVac is built to be a Doctor’s economical vacuum solution for life. BaseVac has designed our system to allow for economic growth with a Dental Clinic. Adding a new operatory, adding staff, or changing specialties, BaseVac allows Dental Professionals to add another motor to their existing system, giving more power to the clinic without the added high price tag.
Environmental Impact
Please follow us next week when we discuss the financial benefit of becoming more environmentally friendly with a BaseVac dry-vacuum pump.
